Dr. Andé Wegner - DVM
Dr. Wegner received her veterinary degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in May 2005, graduating with highest honors.  She has been serving the community as a private practice veterinarian since graduation and enjoys working with people and their beloved pets. Dr. Wegner returned to school in 2013 to become a Certified Veterinary Acupuncturist, graduating in July 2014 from the Chi Institute of Chinese Medicine.  In addition to acupuncture, she takes great interest in diagnostic imaging and surgery.  Dr. Wegner believes that a balance approach to veterinary care can provide optimal health and wellness to every pet.

Dr. Wegner is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, the Illinois State Veterinary Medical Association, and the International Veterinary Acupuncture Society.

When she is not on the job, you can find Dr. Wegner running with the Kankakee River Running Club or participating in races with the Corn Fed Spartans.  She enjoys the competition of triathlon as well as that of obstacle course and adventure racing.  It is not unusual to find her running the streets and trails of Kankakee county with her longtime boyfriend Rick, and their adopted Doberman, Dodge!
